Our Purpose

The Angel Card Project was founded to bring kindness, encouragement, and hope to people in need, reminding them that they are not alone. All recipients must have a genuine reason for needing cards. Requests that do not meet this requirement will be rejected.

Recipient Submission Rules

Please read all guidelines before submitting. Every request is reviewed by our team. Submissions that do not meet all requirements will be removed without further notice.

1. Submission Limits & Household Rules

• Maximum of TWO submissions per person. This limit applies regardless of how many individuals or households you wish to nominate.
• Only ONE submission per mailing address. If multiple people in a household need cards, submit them together as a family.  - Example:

       First Name: The

       Last Name: Smith Family

• Multiple submissions for the SAME address will result in ALL submissions for that address being removed without any notification.

2. Eligibility Requirements

• Genuine Need: Recipients must have a genuine reason for needing cards. Simply enjoying receiving cards does not qualify. We cannot operate as your personal Christmas card list. We must be able to identify a real need with your submission. A brief explanation is sufficient; a detailed personal history is not necessary. - Please remember these submissions will be seen by ALL registered volunteers. If there is PERSONAL information that the person you are submitting would not want others to know about then please do not include that in your submission.
• Location: Recipients must reside in the United States, Canada, or have an APO/FPO address. Requests for other countries may be submitted through our Facebook Group.
• Children: Children under age 5 cannot be submitted individually. They may, however, be included as part of a household or family submission.
• Minors: For recipients under 18, parent or legal guardian information is required. We will send the parent or guardian a letter identifying who submitted the child's name.
• Care Facilities: Nursing homes and care facilities are not eligible for the main recipient list. A separate project will be available through our Facebook Group.
• Prison Inmates: Submissions for prison inmates are not accepted.

3. Permission & Submission Formatting

• Recipient Consent: You must obtain the recipient's permission before submitting their personal information. By submitting, you accept responsibility for having obtained that permission and submitting it to The Angel Card Project.
• Names: Use normal capitalization and provide complete first and last names. Do not use ALL CAPS or initials.

4. Submission Deadline

All submissions must be received by November 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM Central Time.

Late submissions will not be accepted.
